Our Shooting Philosophy
Our primary focus is Lifestyle and Portrait photography. Throughout the tour, we will arrange conceptual setups to ensure you capture unique, portfolio-grade images. Our lead photographers are available at all times to discuss techniques, lighting, and composition.
Photography Equipment Recommendations:
- Lenses:A wide-angle (16-35mm) for the landscapes and craft villages, and a fast prime (50mm or 85mm) for the portraits in Hoi An.
- Filters:A Circular Polarizer (CPL) for the salt fields and ND filters for the rivers in Hue.
- Backup:Plenty of extra SD cards—the incense and water lily shoots alone will take up gigabytes of space!

Arrival in Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and check into your hotel. We recommend arriving at least one day early to acclimatize and prepare your gear.
The Art of Hanoi’s Craft Villages
Morning/Afternoon: Deep dive into the traditional crafts surrounding the capital.

Fly to Hue – The Ancient Capital
Morning: Early flight from Hanoi to Hue.
Afternoon: Capture the poetic life on the Nhu Y River.
Key Subjects: Fishermen casting nets and the magical glow of lanterns being released onto the water as dusk falls.
Hue to Hoi An – Artisans & Coastal Life
Morning: Photograph the delicate art of Thanh Tien paper flowers.
Afternoon: Drive to Hoi An. Capture the sprawling, artistic shapes of locals mending giant green fishing netsalong the coast.
Hoi An – The Awakening Town
04:00 AM: Early start at the Duy Hai fish market to capture the chaotic beauty of the sunrise catch.
Afternoon: Focus on cultural portraits and the vibrant colors of lantern-making workshops in the Old Town.
Hoi An to Phu Yen – The Land of Yellow Flowers
Morning: Catch the early light with local fishermen.
08:30 AM:Check out and depart for Phu Yen, known for its rugged basalt coastline and pristine bays.
Phu Yen to Nha Trang – Traditions in Texture
Morning: Photograph the unique Bamboo Basket Boats (Thung Chai).
Afternoon: Capture the colorful process of drying and dyeing sedge (grass used for weaving mats) in local villages. Drive to Nha Trang.
Nha Trang to Phan Rang – Salt & Shepherds
Morning: The Salt Fields (Hon Khoi or Ninh Chu) for high-contrast shots of workers and white salt mounds.
Afternoon: Visit a Sheep Farm in Phan Rang—a unique landscape that looks more like the Mediterranean than Southeast Asia.
Phan Rang to Ho Chi Minh City – Sand & Silk
Morning: Nam Cuong Sand Dunes at sunrise to capture the wind-swept ripples and silhouettes of Cham people.
Afternoon: Photograph the traditional production of rice noodles.
Evening: Arrive in the bustling Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Chi Minh to Long An – The Water Lilies
Morning: Travel to Long An to photograph women in traditional "Ao Dai" or "Ao Ba Ba" harvesting water lilies in the flooded fields.
11:30 AM: Official trip conclusion in Ho Chi Minh City.
Farewell
Free Time: Explore the city streets for candid street photography or shop for souvenirs.
Departure: Private van transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
