Bali Arrival
09:00 AM: Departure from Hanoi to Bali (Estimated flight time: 5 hours).
Afternoon: Meet & Greet with our team at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).
Transfer: Private transfer to your hotel in the Bedugul Highlands.
Evening: Briefing session on the photography schedule and safety guidelines for the mountain treks.
Bali Highlights – Banyuwangi City
Sunrise: Capture the iconic Ulun Danu Beratan Temple at the first light.
Morning Photography: Model photoshoot featuring a Legong Dancer in traditional Balinese attire at the stunning Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfall.
Transfer: Overland journey to Gilimanuk Port, followed by a ferry crossing to Banyuwangi, East Java.
Evening: Check-in and early rest for the midnight trek.
Ijen Crater – Tumpak Sewu (The Crater Lake)
Midnight: Start the 3-hour trek to the summit of Mount Ijen.
Highlights: Photograph the rare "Blue Fire" and the mesmerizing turquoise acid lake at sunrise. Document the sulfur miners’ activities.
Transfer: Long-distance drive to Tumpak Sewu (approx. 5 hours).
Overnight: Check-in at a local guest house near the falls.
Tumpak Sewu – Mount Bromo (The Great Waterfall)
Sunrise: Experience the grandeur of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall from the panoramic viewpoint with Mt. Semeru in the background.
Morning: Optional descent to the base of the falls for high-impact close-up shots.
Transfer: Drive to the Mount Bromo region (approx. 4-5 hours).
Evening: Sunset & Milky Way Hunt. June is peak season for Astrophotography in Bromo’s high-altitude clear skies.
Bromo In-Depth Exploration
Pre-dawn: Capture Startrails followed by a 360-degree sunrise panorama from King Kong Hill.
Afternoon: Specialized photoshoot featuring Tenggerese Horsemen riding across the volcanic "Sea of Sand," creating dramatic dust and lighting effects.
Overnight: Stay at Bromo area for another night of potential star-gazing.
Bromo – Surabaya
Sunrise: Final sunrise session from a different vantage point or documentary-style shoot in the local Tengger villages.
Transfer: Drive to Surabaya City (approx. 3 hours).
Evening: Farewell Dinner and leisure time to explore the city or visit local markets.
Surabaya – Bali – Hanoi (Departure)
Morning: Transfer to Juanda International Airport (SUB).
Transit: Domestic flight to Bali (DPS) followed by your international connection back to Hanoi.

Photography Gears:
- Camera & Lenses: Bring lenses from wide (14-24mm or 16-35mm) to telephoto (up to 200mm).
- Tripod: Tripod is very important for all landscape and nightscape photos in during the tour.
- Battery: Prepare your some batteries for backup.
- Remote control
- Filters: ND (6-10 stops) and GND (2 or 3 stops) if available
- Drone: Prepare drone if available
- Cleaning kit: Cleaning tools are very important for somes sences in Bromo, Tumpak Sewu, Walikiri beach….
Transportation and Flight Infor:
- 02 Mini van shall be used during the tour if there are 6 clients in the group.
- 01 domestic flights:
**Note: 20kg of checked lugguges and 7kg of Carbin lugguage.
Shooting Details:
- We’ll focus on landscapes and nightscapes during the tour
- Some conceptual activites will be set up
- Feel free to ask about photography techniques or composition at any time
Daily schedule and inforation
- Lee will inform any information during the trip via WhatsApp Group. So make sure you check from the Group. The group will be created when starting the trip.
Travel Essentials:
- Clothing: A warm jaket, a beanie, sunglasses should be prepared when taking pictures in Bromo. The temperature is cold (5-10o C in morning and at night). In other places, a windy jacket and is enough.
- Medicine: bring any personal medication you may need.
- Internest: Most hotels have Wi-fi. And you should prepare a local SIM card with data.
- Shoes: Wear proper shoes for dusty paths and hiking. Boots should be weared when taking pictures in Walakiri beach
- Personal items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste
- Flashlight: recommended as a headlamp Emphasize compact size
- Money: Bring some Indonesian Rupiah for tips and food (Note: all breakfasts arre included in the tour)
